Faux Envelope Card with Flowers in Bloom!
Today’s project was inspired by a beautiful Florals in Bloom Suite sample I spotted in the catalog—just too pretty not to try!
I was especially taken with the idea of a faux envelope overflowing with flowers, so I’ve recreated it with my own twist. You’ll see this design in three different colourways, each bringing its own feel to the same sweet concept.

These sweet blooms are from the Pretty Florals stamp and die set, part of the Flowers in Bloom Suite (also available separately).
I just love the two-step stamping with these images—it’s such a quick and easy way to get beautiful detail and soft color all in one go. The outline and fill stamps layer so nicely for a polished look without much effort!

Tip: It’s easier to line up the two images if you stamp the darker one first. The darker ink is just easier to see through the block. Give it a try!
The inks I used:
Tall flowers: Petunia Pop and Bubble Bath
Daisies: Crushed Curry and Darling Duckling
Tulips (?): Calypso Coral and Petal Pink

I also tried a white envelope version, which I thought was a nice variation with a more traditional envelope color.. And, of course, the colors really pop next to the white.
