This card was a lot of fun to make! We did double embossing and heated ribbon flowers. I love how the background turned out – several layers but still all quite subtle.
This project was inspired by Stamper Dog’s Double Double Card – link below:
This is one of my favourite colour combinations – real red with a pale blue. Here I’ve used Bashful Blue. I used this combo because it could be Christmas – especially if used with the Petals A Plenty (poinsetta) embossing folder.
The background is stamped, dry embossed, and then heat embossed with white ink and clear EP.
Now that rose . . . .
Here is a very good video on how to do this flower. It takes about ten minutes to do, but I do like the shabby effect. And it works really well!! Can’t really mess this one up.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: You’re a Gem
Colours: Bashful Blue, Real Red
Other: Real Red Satin Ribbon, Whisper White Satin Ribbon, Antique Brads, Adhesive Sheets, 1 3/8 circle punch, Large oval punch, Clear EP, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder
