I’m not usually a big fan of Santa images, but this guy is so cute. The Surfing Santa stamp set image is really just a guy with a beard on a surf board with a Santa hat on, so I like him!

What You’ll Need:

Here’s a quick rundown of supplies to craft this whimsical bottle tag:

Cardstock in Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, and Basic White.
Stamps: Surfing Santa
Alcohol markers or watercolor pencils for coloring.
Ink pads in Lemon Lolly and Pool Party
2″ and 2 3/8″ circle punches or dies for the bottle neck.
Iridescent Faceted Gems for sparkling “sea foam”

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare the Base: Cut your cardstock to 7.5 x 3.75”. Score and fold at 3” from the top to create the tag’s neck flap. Use a circle punch to create an opening for the bottle.
Create the Ocean Vibes: Use the wave stamp from Surfing Santa with Pool Party ink, and add a splashy wave design to the bottom portion of the white cardstock panel.
Stamp and Color Santa: Stamp the Surfing Santa image onto a separate piece of cardstock. Grab your favorite coloring tools to bring Santa to life! Don’t forget to deck him out in bright, tropical hues!
Assemble the Tag: Layer the white wave-embellished panel onto the blue tag base. Attach Santa with dimensionals to make him pop. Stamp the “Warm Wishes” sentiment in bold black ink for contrast. Stamp waves on a scrap white, tear for an interesting edge,and adhere over the bottom part of Santa with dimensionals.
Add the Finishing Touches: Stamp the sun in Lemon Lolly ink. Add a few Iridescent Faceted Gems to the splashes for some sparkling sea foam.
Slide and Gift: Slip your completed tag over a bottle neck, and voila! Your handmade holiday gift is ready for gifting!
