It’s time for another color challenge at the Colour Inkspiration Crew! I’ve been so busy preparing for my Christmas Extravaganza Online that I haven’t been able to participate for a few rounds. Every two weeks the Colour Inkspiration Challenge Group hosts a new colour challenge. You can submit your project or just join in to enjoy other people’s creations.
This fortnight’s challenge is a sophisticated, neutral one with two greens and a brown. It just so happens there are the exact colours in the new Eden’s Garden papers!
I actually made my project months ago. I was inspired to use the Kiwi bird from the Count on Me stamp set with the Stitched Greenery die as the background:
For the background, I started out with Soft Succulent cardstock die cut with the Stitched Greenery die. Then I used my Blending Brushes and blended on both Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen to create the dark to light effect.
Of course, being in New Zealand, I wanted to use this cute little Kiwi bird. I’ve colored him in with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. This was a great color combination and challenge for this little guy.
