Colour Inkspiration #47 – Butterfly Gala Sneak Peek

Welcome to Jacque Williams’ blog in New Zealand!  The Colour Inkspiration Crew has a new colour challenge for the next fortnight:

I wanted to take this one in a non-Christmas direction, so pulled out the new Butterfly Gala bundle, complete with stamp set and punch:

This is one of the few cards I’ve made recently that doesn’t have a bow!  LOL

Everyone loves butterflies, and this new stamp set comes with a punch for quick projects that are easy to put together.  I chose to use the “fill” stamp to colour in the butterflies, but one could use the Watercolour Pencils or the Stampin’ Blends as an alternative.

 

I was hoping to use the new (coming) Stitched Rectangles for this, but alas, they have not yet arrived.  So I used the Subtle folder and a bit of inking around the edges for interest instead.

And don’t forget our awesome acetate (aka Window Sheets) for stamping!  I love this subtle tag here.

 

I know it’s a crazy busy time of year, but I do hope you can find a little time for yourself and play along with this colour challenge over the next two weeks. If you don’t have the exact colours, please feel free to use something similar.
