It’s time for a new colour challenge in the Colour Inkspiration Challenges Facebook group! Starting today, the challenge for the next 3 weeks is Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, Highland Heather, Sahara Sand, and Whisper White:
One of my favorite sets in the Annual Catalogue is the Dandelion Wishes set, so I thought I’d give it a try with this colour combination:
I tried quite a few options with this one, but decided I liked the watercoloring over white embossing for a resist look the best. And you may be wondering where the Highland Heather is in this project – it’s very subtle, but it’s in the splatters on the front!
And did you know you can mix your Stampin’ Blends on your pearls (and other embellishments?). I used both Crumb Cake and Smokey Slate here to get the Sahara Sand-like color.
And I made this card a Double Front card, so it opens twice. It takes one more layer of cardstock, but I think the effect is easy and worthwhile!
I know you’ll enjoy the rest of the hop! Please visit the talented Rose Packer next!
Thanks for stopping by!

So pretty and a sneaky way to use the Highland Heather! Love the panel layout too.
