This one was a lot of fun! I am learning to like and enjoy the “brighter” colour combinations these days. . .
I designed this layout based on a sketch by Becky Flick at www.pagemaps.com AND around the colour challenge from the Corrosive Challenge Blog! I really liked Karen’s project on there and used her as my inspiration, too. Have a play! New challenge each week AND generous prizes!
The technique I wanted to teach here was the use of the Heat and Stick powder and our new, colouored glitters. And, as always, it’s cool to be able to create the design to match and coordinate with the photos exactly.
This is my new favourite way to add journaling – print it out and chop it up. Adds interest and you don’t have to get the printer and computer to cooperate to made the journaling and exact size, either. Easy peasy.
The embellishment medallion was made from a single stamp, just stamped in four different colours and layered up. I love how that turned out!
I/we made this layout in a class last week, and it’s always neat to see how the ladies rearrange and change the colours and all come up with such different ideas and projects. I like teaching the layout classes especially for that reason.

Ooh, nice one Jacque! Wish I’d been able to come to that class. I can see you’re going to find a way to make me use Circle Circus aren’t you!
Thanks for the lovely feedback on my entry – and don’t worry, I put my blog address on the back 🙂

Wow that was unusual. I just wrote an extremely long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t appear.
