I’ve used our Ex Libris stamp today to make a quick and yummy, vintage Christmas Card. And this is another one inspired by a sample in our demonstrator magazine!
Was a wee bit scary stamping this big stamp in BLACK, but I stamped it using my fingers rather than my palm, giving an uneven, antiqued impression. I like it!
Don’t you love how the image is also perfect as an “address label” on our Crumb Cake Envelopes?! So cute!
I used the new Pansy Punch with Cherry Cobbler and made a super simple flower and added a few flags from the Modern Medley papers (these are a must-have staple).
And here it is in Crisp Cantaloupe. Love the flower on the black and white – a great way to use up those scraps!
You can just barely see it, but in both samples I’ve added a dash of Dazzling Diamonds. Glitter looks great on vintage when done in very small amounts!
I had to look it up~! What does Ex Libris mean?
“an inscribed bookplate, especially in a decorative way”. Clever Stampin’ Up!. What a perfect name for this beautiful image!
