It’s always great fun to get new products in the stash! Daisies are my favorite flower, so I’ve had fun playing with the new Cheerful Daisy set. And it’s really fun to have new colors to mix in for fresh combinations!
This month for the Global Video Hop, we are all sharing a One Sheet Wonder. At the time of designing this project, I had very few printed papers that were current (just that time of year), so I decided to stamp up my own!
I didn’t want to go really complicated, so after stamping, I kept all the cutting to basically just cutting into quarters. Easy!
The stamping was inspired by the stunning work of Ruth Trice, but my version is seriously toned down from what she can do.
I used the new Boho Blue for my daisies. After all, daisies don’t have to be white.
For the leaves, I used a couple of the images from Nature’s Prints. I quite liked the look of more of a spiky leaf with the daisies. You can, of course, select any leaves you like.
Each of the four cards have been finished just slightly differently for variety. Something like this would make a fantastic pack of cards for a gift.
I added another white layer behind, embossed with the Basics Embossing Folders for a bit of texture without detracting.
