Wow what a great day yesterday was!
We woke up relatively early (8) and took the moped down to the local markets. We bought Rob a cool stone necklace and he bought me a new dress. After breakfast we swam laps in the pool and napped.
Last night's finale dinner was amazing! absolutely loved it! One of my favorites so far. The bus that picked us up was a double decker, so we had to sit on the top floor, of course.
When we arrived at the Pearl Museum, we were taken out back to where the Luggers were, and they had transformed the grounds into a movie in the park picnic area!
Sooo adorable! I just really really loved this set up and idea. I heard Angie Godfrey (SU employee who organizes these trips) say that she personally had hand made those quilts for us. Probably aslo the napkins and all the rest too! How wonderful it is to know a gift was hand made just for you. Reminds me of why we love this hobby and craft and business!
And this was so touching for some reason. I just loved seeing our names together, hand done just for US.
Inside our basket we had American Lollies, in typical American Movie style: LARGE! 🙂
And this is my congrats card from Emma for being the first in AustralAsia to achieve this Broome trip:
The sail behind us is where we watched our movie. Soo clever and creative!! I adore Angie and Kelly Sue, the ladies who organize these things. They just are so very very good.
Our last group photo before we said our good byes:
When we came home last night, we found another lovely gift on the bed. The packaging was beautiful. the gift I can't show just yet , sorry.
And a hand written card from Shelli for Rob and myself. Both the hand made quilts and a hand written, personal card are really special to me. We should all do those little and big things for those who are important to us often. A great reminder for me.
Well this has been a MOST enjoyable week. I've been feeling so weepy the last day, and I'm sure it's just simple gratitude for all those who support me, whether by kind words, helping with the kids, orders big and small, hostesses, downline, and more. thank you all so very much.
What a lovely way to spend some time together before your fabulous big day. You both look so happy and perfect together.
Thanks Sally! I do feel he’s perfect! 🙂 Was an absolutely lovely holiday
