Today’s share is the fourth out of five projects taught at the Nelson Extravaganza (as well as at the Hamilton and Tauranga Events) featuring the Wonderland stamp set. We had something else in mind, but as we designed and it evolved, this is how it was born. And that’s how crafting goes sometimes.
It’s hard to tell from just a photograph, but Shimmery White cardstock (link below) creates the card front, which adds a nice richness to the colour as well as a bit of shimmer. It makes all the difference.
The trees are stamped in Soft Suede and Early Espresso multiple times, without reinking, to create the different shades. A very easy and effective technique.
The Snowflake Elements have really been popular – they are easy to add and add a nice visual texture to your projects.
We also taught our guests how to create an envelope liner with a very small piece of paper – surely a technique they will use over and over again.
The sad news is that Wonderland, the Snowflake Elements, and the Gold Cording Trim are all being retired! Get them while supplies last. Shopping list below:
