I feel SOOOOO blessed!
I have never received so many birthday wishes ever in my life – true!! Between my family, Stampin' Up! family, and Facebook, I felt particularly loved this year.
I wanted to share here some of the beautiful cards I received:
This beauty is made by Karen Rogers and is a shutter card. I haven't made one of these myself yet, but the effect is fantastic! Great Friend is a beautiful stamp set and the matching papers have not been my personal favourites, but they look stunning here. She's got a lot of talent that girl.
Next is an elegant number by Julia Leece. Sahara Sand and Riding Hood Red – what a beautiful combination. And yes, I need to get my crimper out more often. Very nice, Julia.
Donna B. sent me this one for my birthday and don't you just love how she's done up this flower? My first thought was that it would make a fabulous Layout embellishment; what do you think? Love it Donna!
This one made me laugh. Janine P. made me a birthday "treat" with a mushroom and carrots! Don't you love it? She knows me too well!! Very creative, Janine, and yes, I did eat it!
Another stunner by Merilyn I. using lots of embossing, the Great Freind stamp set and the gorgeous Parisian Breeze cardstock. She went all out on this one – I love the En Francais set embossed here in the background on the confetti cream cardstock.
This last card was not specifically a birthday card, but a friend to friend card by our NZ famous Tilly McLeod. I thought it was so nice – the colours are great! That's another thing I don't use nearly enough – the metallic card we have. Yes, we do have metallic cardstock (page 130). And blast from the past: the first thing I ever ever bought from Stampin' Up! was a jar of Classy Copper embossing powder.
I also received some lovely soaps from Jane T. how did she know I wash my kids mouths out with soap? They will appreciate the fruity "flavours". What a mean mother . . . .
Thank you all for making my life so sweet!

Sorry I missed your birthday Jacque but it sounds as though you had a great day. Hope this spins off into a really great year ahead too. xx
