A few weeks ago, I hosted a team gathering here in Auckland. At this event, I was able to include a little table gift for each attendee, and I decided to pair up the new Beauty & Joy stamp set with the Copper Dotted Treat Bags:
I often don’t think about stamping on other colours besides Whisper White and Very Vanilla, but it’s certainly an option! In this particular case, the Whisper White was too same-same with the bag, so the Crumb Cake here gave it that nice contrast.
Do you recognize where those Nested Stitched Shapes cut-outs came from?
The Peaceful Pines make and take I shared on that same day had a window feature, and I pre-cut that part, so I had a good stack of these shapes left over. Just enough for each person, in fact.
So there’s an idea for you – when you do a window type card, use the leftover pieces for tags on a bag or even gift tags. They are already cut, stitched, and cute, so may as well make use of them!
Stamping these came together quite quickly. You may have noticed the pots are stamped in the new Delicata Copper ink to match the bag detail. It’s very hard to capture the shimmer in photographs, but it really is very beautiful.
I used a couple of Sponge Daubers to ink up the leaves with both Pretty Peacock and Old Olive. This is really quite quick to do and makes an otherwise flat image look so much more interesting.
