I have had SO much fun designing with the Enduring Beauty bundle, which includes not only stamps and dies, but also masks (stencils)! This is just brilliant. Just putting it out there – I’d love a bundle that has all those things plus an embossing folder to match.
This was my first version, using Boho Blue with Highland Heather to shade the flowers. I taught this project at all four of my Extravaganza events, and it was great fun to see how truly pleased people were with their results. What appeared to be quite advanced was actually very straightforward and easy to do.
Next, I rotated the design 90 degrees, and tried a warmer color combination with Calypso Coral and Copper Clay.
On both designs, I employed a partial embossing idea with the Distressed Tile folder, where we embossed only a small portion of the card panel for a tone-on-tone border effect.
The brand new Sweetly Scripted stamp set is perfect for this card layout (or any horizontal cards like this). This set has such a nice font and design; I think I will be using this one quite a bit.
