Thanks to all of you who sent well wishes and encouragement – it's been a very fun weekend here in the Gold Coast.
I competed Saturday in the Australian Natural Bodybuilding Champs – a very large, drug-tested event for athletes from the Austral-Asia region. We had nearly 200 athletes there!
I competed in a division with 13 or 14 stunningly beatiful women and placed fifth. I feel honoured to have placed at all in such a lineup and at the same time, see where I can improve to do better next time.
This is definately a sport about personal goals and challenges – I don't believe I will ever say I have "reached it", but will always have little goals for continual improvement.

Next challenge: Sept 4th Club Physical comps to qualify for the September 25th Gold Coast Queensland State Champs.
