How to Make a Sunburst Background Card with the Moonlit Flora Suite

Today’s share is with a very special suite, the Moonlit Flora. I don’t know the story behind this one, but I believe it was designed with New Zealand in mind, making this collection one to treasure. For this project, I combined several of the smaller prints from the Moonlit Flora papers plus the Peaceful Pine Pearlized paper, for a Sunburst background. This was just a bit out of my comfort zone with so many prints going on, but I actually just love it.

The process is pretty easy; you can see the short video of how to make a sunburst background in the second video listed below.

Honestly, everything in this suite is the “star”, from the papers, to the images, dies, embossing folder, and dewdrops. These dies are just beautiful in their shape and detail, right down to those details in the flowers.

On this project, I opted for the In Color Butterflies, rather than the coordinating Dewdrops embellishments, because I liked the little splash of pink (Crisp Cantaloupe used here) to tie in the Berry Burst label. Plus, I felt the butterflies added a bit of “garden life” to the fern and flower arrangement.
