Use What You Have: Quick Layered Punch Card Idea
Today’s share is from a live I did, and this one is a fun idea using any basic shaped punch or die and coordinating printed paper. For these samples, I used the Painted Illusions papers, the February Product of the Month from Stampin’ Up.

For this version, I used the Bee Builder Punch with various prints from the Painted Illusions papers. Between this shape and the prints, this really gives a mermaid feel. Add a little Wink of Stella and some sparkling gems, and it’s a great card for someone who loves a bit of fairy tale magic.

Same punch and same paper pack, but a very different effect here.

Next, I used the Nested Essentials dies to create the same layout, also with the Painted Illusions paper pack. This one took a bit more time compared to using a punch, but the extra detail of that double stitching is really quite nice.
