Branching Out Quick Christmas Card Idea
Quick doesn’t need to be boring! In my latest Facebook Live, I shared a lot of tips for using and caring for photopolymer stamps so you get the best results. During my demonstration, I shared this quick card idea with the Branching Out stamp and die set:

I made this card to showcase how photopolymer stamps are fantastic for two-step stamping, the technique where the parts of an image are separate, like the branch and the pine needles. It’s much easier to line up the images when you can see right through the stamp and the block.
In fact . . in making this video, I was pondering how in the world we ever did it with wood and rubber! But we did, and we did so happily. That being said, this is so much easier.

I also really love the idea of stamping right on printed paper, something I don’t think to do often enough. The Country Woods papers are just perfect for this concept (and so many other things – love this paper pack). I love this rustic background against the pine needles.
The right hand side is just a portion of the Peaceful Greenery embossing folder, one that I have used and used so much this season. It’s really quite versatile!

For this second version, I also added in the pine cones. It’s easy to add them to the right places when you can see where they are going to stamp.
