Rip & Flip Technique for Quick & Beautiful Cards!
Today’s share is from a reel I posted about a month ago on my Facebook Page, and it’s a fast favorite technique for showcasing those beautiful double sided papers; the Rip and Flip technique.

For my samples today, I’ve used the Peaceful Garden papers. What you want to look for are papers where side A and side B coordinate, and these ones fit the bill perfectly.
This is a great technique for blasting through your stash and/or making a stack of coordinating cards for a gift set in an afternoon.

The basic way is to tear the paper once, flip one of the pieces over, and align them up on your card front. On today’s samples, I actually tore it twice (on both ends) to vary the look. You could also add a little layer of specialty paper (glitter paper, for example) along the torn edge for even more possibilities.

I love that the Peace on Earth stamp set has not only Christmas, but also sympathy and wedding sentiments for year-round use.
