Interlocking Accordion Fun Fold Card! Free PDF Download!
Today’s share is a very cool fun fold card: the Interlocking Accordion fun fold! This project is just a step up from my preference for more straightforward fun folds, but once you do one, it’s really quite straightforward.
Here’s what this fabulous fun fold looks like:
Basically, the card base is two pieces, attached together to make it fairly long. The middle section is also two pieces attached together to make it long enough to weave through. Get the score lines in the right place, and it’s pretty ready to go.
For this sample, I’ve used the new Painterly Pears papers, which I do think are just lovely. This fun fold is a good one to use those trick “border” prints, too.
I used the same border print on the front, this time tearing at the bottom and flipping it over to showcase the other side. I kept the front simple, giving the inside even more impact.
