I had lots of fun making these cards with the new Changing Leaves stamp and die set. It’s Wintry here right now, so I was in the mood to use these images with a little heat embossing and watercolor resist. And with this technique, you can make two card fronts in one go!
You can make each card look different from the other by rotating one for a slightly different effect.
I used Basic Beige for the card bases, which is a really nice compliment to the Fluid 100 watercolor paper.
I particularly like the leaf image in the Changing Leaves stamp set that has the skeleton leaf look. It’s gorgeous! And I love how it picks up the color.
You can stamp right on the stamped card front for a quick card. Just make sure the background is completely dry first.
