Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day or not, sometimes we need a card that just says “I care about you” or “I love you”. Hearts on a card are also suitable for new babies or for weddings (weddings on the mind as my last daughter gets married in 9 days!)
I really like how these hearts turn out with the new Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder. As you can see in the video below, you ink up the folder with the new brayer, then you can ink, cut, and emboss all in one go!
It’s brilliant. So far I’ve just tried it with tone on tone colors, but I think this would be equally stunning with color on white or two contrasting colors.
I used just the folder in the background for a traditional embossed panel. I just like how the folder can be used with the dies or just standard.
I kept the rest of the card fairly simple (not too fussy), thinking I might give this card to my own husband. He’s a builder, Kiwi bloke, so he doesn’t like too much “stuff”.
