I still do scrapbooking classes all around New Zealand, and today I’d like to share one of them with you! The Countryside Inn papers are great for scrapbooking; all the prints are small and fairly subtle, which is great for keeping your photos the star of the show.
This woven background is also a great way to use up those extra strips from larger projects. It really only takes a few inches of 3-4 prints to make this whole background!
My favorite thing in this suite is actually the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder. I just love it! I’ve also always loved tone-on-tone, especially in scrapbooking, and embossing helps the top white layer stand out.
I felt it was a lot of blue, and wanted to add a splash of color. I chose colors right from the photo (Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss), but a bright pink or a peachy color would also stand out well.
These flowers are from the Meadows dies, one that are nice for silhouette type of flowers that don’t necessarily require coloring in. I like that they add color, but are still subtle.
These words are from the new Wonderful Thoughts stamp set, and I think they are fantastic for layouts. Use them all together or just the phrase you want.
