I was inspired by the hexagons in the Beautiful Shapes die set to create something featuring a bumblebee and hive:
It was easy to create the hive pattern along the side with the smallest hexagon die and Thick Basic White cardstock. Next, I placed Bumblebee cardstock, the Abstract Beauty papers, and gold foil embossed with the Hive 3D Embossing folder in through the slots.
I love how this turned out! A bit like a quilted hive with a touch of cute.
So the bumble bee is my favorite part of this project. I’ve actually used the Ladybug Punch for this cute little guy, and then gave him a couple of vellum wings with a layer of Wink of Stella.
