Adorable Driving By 70's Van

My card today is inspired by another sample I saw on Pinterest – making the fun van in the Driving By stamp set into a fun 70’s style van! The Pattern Party papers are perfect for this with a small print in bright colors:

I also use a small strip of the concrete print from the In Good Taste papers to add a little road for our van. Plus, I think that more solid gray print tones down the many other patterns going on in this project.

The little x’s are from the Hello Beautiful stamp set.

I have to say . . as I’ve made projects with many of them, the Driving By set has quickly become my second favorite SaleABration set (the first being the Calming Camellia). These are just so fun!

The more open image also lends itself to paper piecing, which is an easy technique to use paper to add a fun print to your image.

I also think the Shimmery Crystal Effects is a perfect companion to this set so you can make those windows shine.
