Shaker cards make everyone happy! We just can’t resist giving them a shake! They are so fun, but also can be a little tricky to keep it all contained. Today’s concept was inspired by Rosemarrie Gonzalez, who shared this technique with Stampin’ Up! demonstrators at a recent worldwide training. Here’s my take on it, with the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper:
I think I love every print in this paper pack; they are just so happy and fun! I have found that the larger, more “picture” prints work best for this card idea, giving you such a quick, simple background.
I used the Sequins for Everything to create the shaker pieces. They are relatively flat and large, perfect for high impact on a shaker card! You will also need the Clear Envelopes.
Watch the short video below for simple instructions on how to make this card. I hope you enjoy! You can also click HERE to add what you need to your shopping cart. (You can remove the items you don’t need).
Thanks for stopping by my stamping studio! ~ Jacque W.
