Hi, friends! Today’s share is actually a “reject” project for our upcoming Christmas Stamp Extravaganzas, but I thought it was good enough to still share. Perhaps you can find some inspiration with this one!
I’ve used the new Snow Front stamp set, which coordinates quite well with the Waterfront set of images that has been out for a couple of years now. Both sets have really great imagery for building up scenes.
I’ve sponged the background here, using a mask to create the moon. Then I have stamped the trees and deer. Trees and deer seem to be my favorite Christmas images; I have gravitated to them every year.
I absolutely love this Pretty Peacock/Old Olive reversible ribbon! I probably wouldn’t have put two such similar colours together, but they are really beautiful. This ribbon is in the Annual (the big) Catalogue, so we have it until at least next June. I’ll be using this again for sure!
It’s been fun experimenting with this new Mercury Glass acetate. It’s got this great visual texture to it, and the clear acetate parts show through whatever colour is underneath. It reminds me of that crackle nail polish.
