Today’s share is a technique inspired by Rachel Tessman, and one that I love because you only need Basic White for the cardstock to complete!
For this sample, i’ve used the Joy of Noel bundle, one that I love for both traditional and non-traditional Christmas cards.
For this version, I went with frosty blue and purple shades (Balmy Blue and Highland Heather). I did use a bit of Gorgeous Grape for the words, but you could also just ink up some white or use a label. That being said, I’m guessing all of us reading this have at least one scrap of some colored cardstock to use!
Next, I wanted to try more traditional colors with the Joy of Noel bundle, so reached for Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler. Because it’s blended on rather than stamped, that Cherry Cobbler looks fairly pink, but I love it.
This one was actually the first one I tried, with Fresh Freesia and Lost Lagoon. I thought this would be my favorite, but I think the second one with Cherry Cobbler actually is. I’d like to try more color combinations! The possibilities!
