Hi and welcome to New Zealand! You’ve landed at Jacque Williams’ Blog.
Early release! Today’s share is a “clean vintage” card using the Carols of Christmas Bundle from the upcoming (1 September) Holiday Catalogue. (But you can purchase this early right now!) This is a gorgeous Christmas set with a variety of holiday images in both the stamp set and the dies.
I went with my favorite colors (now) of Fresh Fig, Sweet Sugarplum, and Rich Razzleberry paired with Crumb Cake.
The words in this set are quite large, which is great for making them a real focal point in other projects. Here, I just used the ‘Peace” from the “Peace on Earth” and embossed in Gold to tie in with the gold in the Metallic Edged Ribbon, the Gold Sequins, and the little bits of Gold Glitter on the ornaments.
The little ornaments are easy to cut out with the coordinating dies. There is a stamp for the strings, but in this case, I used the real thing with a bit of Linen Thread. I love the texture it creates.
The background is embossed with the Holly Embossing Folder, and then lightly sponged with the Whisper White Craft Ink. That white ink pad is really great for subtly bringing out details.
Inside the card I Gold Embossed the rest of the sentiment, although Peace on its own is perfectly logical, too.
Each of the demonstrators on this hop has also contributed to the All Stars August Tutorial , including 12 full color instructions for 12 gorgeous projects! Free with any $50 or more order during August OR you can purchase below for $20 NZD:
I know you’ll enjoy the rest of the hop! Next is the very talented Jenneke De Jong !
Thanks for stopping by!
