Welcome to another wonderful blog hop by the Colour Inspiration Crew! You are now at Jacque Williams’ blog in New Zealand!
Challenge #6 features Night of Navy, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, and Gold:
I had plans for this combination, but I recently received my copy of Stampin’ Success, the Stampin’ Up! magazine for demonstrators. I was quite taken with the project featured there with this fun background:
The background is created by smooshing ink onto our clear stamping blocks, spritzing with water, and then stamping! Each one turns out quite differently.
The stamp set here is HIgh Tide, one that is suitable for the guys, but of course, not limited to!
And here is another version, more in keeping precisely with the colour challenge.
On the first example, I accidentally turned the background image upside down, but in looking at the two, I think I prefer it that way now. Which do you like?
But actually my favorite thing about this card is the beams of light. I intentionally made them “not solid” and I like the effect!
Thank you for joining the blog hop and I know you’ll enjoy your next stop at Simone Bartrum!

Hi Jacque, I am a lover of smooshing 🙂 and you can use almost any flat non absorbant surface to smoosh with….window sheets, blocks, plastic bags and each gives a wonderful effect.
I like both of your cards, they both have their own personality.. But if I was made to choose, I would choose the second card with the darker background..

Either way that background is stunning Jacque, but that top one gives the effect of the most vibrant sunset…Fab use of these colours! xx
