It’s the very last day to order the Under My Umbrella stamp set, one of my personal favorites. I just love the cute images with the open lines, perfect for coloring or the paper piecing technique!
This is one of the four cards I shared at my recent Stamp A Stack class, a great project for using those last little bits of gorgeous papers. We’ve used the Hydrangea Hill papers for this version.
Simply stamp the umbrella image onto the papers (small prints work best), and then punch, die cut, or scissors cut the image. Stamp images with a lot of open space are the best choice for this technique.
Each station often has variations on any design, so this is another version we did with the Ornate Garden papers. These aren’t colors or a combination I’d pick out on my own, but I have to say I do rather like this!
Click here for a complete supply list of this project, keeping in mind some items will be discontinued after 4 May (tomorrow).
Enjoy this short video featuring the paper piecing technique, and please subscribe to my YouTube channel while you’re there!
Thanks for stopping by my stamping studio today! ~ Jacque Williams
