There isn’t much stamping on this scrapbooking layout, but a lot of really neat techniques using Stampin’ Up! supplies. I had a bright, fun layout in mind when I started, but this particular photo of Madeleine inspired a different evolvement:
The photo of the photo doesn’t really do it justice. It’s such a cute one. My father is an amateur photographer and lucky me – i have a box full of really great photos of my babes.
The journaling was done on acetate with an ink jet printer and then clear embossed. The “treasures” word was stamped on acetate using black staz-on ink.
The wet water effect is quite cool! All the ladies loved doing this and were amazed at the easy effect of clear embossing on acetate.
And those vintage tags are an accessory still available and also included in the new Idea Book & Catalogue (order yours here). And yes, the do come already “rusty” . . . antiqued is probably the more correct word.
And last I just wanted to show that yes, you can heat emboss on photos. I wasn’t sure and took a big risk, but it does work . .
