For this project, I chose to focus on the leaf dies, perhaps an overlooked element in a set full of beautiful floral images. The layout is inspired by Tammy Wilson (her project used different colours and images). It’s a nice design to feature a row of small elements.
I created a custom cardstock with simple inks and a waterbrush to create this ombre look. Particularly with a simple design, it’s nice to have the elements that little bit more interesting.
If asked what my favorite technique is, it would be this: creating custom papers, backgrounds, ribbons, and elements with ink.
Pretty Flowers is the background embossing folder. I’ve gone over it with the Whisper White ink for a bit more depth.
