I had to write "more masculine" on this because it IS of my youngest daughter . . . gender-neutral might be better! The Retro Fresh Designer Series Papers are quite good for male or female style layouts.
This layout goes outside my usual style of straight lines and is more of a casual look with lots of little details.
The use of the clothespins and the journaling tags was fun! I've kept to my goal this year to include journaling on all my layouts – these are the things that will be treasured in the future, I believe. A bit of washi tape and some splatters from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set create a colourful background.
I am so addicted to the Coredinations paper!! I love how it can be sanded up for a bit of interest, but doesn't add to much "shabby" if you don't want. And left alone, it's just a nice, textured card. Wonderful!
The edges are not only sanded, but also faux stitched with the White Gel Pen.
My title is die cut using the Typeset Alphabet Letters and embellished with the necessary heart. :) The small tagline is from One in a Million, a nice set that has some warm fuzzy little sayings in it.
