I wanted to make a more masculine card that was suitable for Valentine's Day, but not limited to. The new Retro Fresh series is a really good one for masculine and even for that challenging "teenage boy" project.
As you can see, the card base is made to look like a file folder. I had to smile when a young boy in one of my classes didn't know what a file folder was. LOL – now that made me feel out of date!
The shape is quickly and easily created using the Envelope Punch Board, so much more than just for envelopes.
The Sweet Sorbet Twine here is also not "ribbons and bows", so perfect for a guy!
The words on both the front and the inside of the File Folder are from the new set, Perfect Pennants. All the sayings in that set are quite nice and general, but not the "ordinary".
