She was a nice little girl who never sassed her mother.
This is my submission for the July Challenge of the Month.
My page features some neat Faux Techniques, Faux Silk, Faux Stitching, and Faux Buttons. Can you find them all?
The Faux Silk Technique is quite fun and easy, although it did take me a few minutes to get all those little flowers coloured in. All you need for this one is some tissue paper and a good glue stick.
1. Stamp on your tissue with a waterproof ink if you are going to colour it in and any ink if not. Colour if appropriate using a blender pen.
2. Scrunch up the tissue into a ball and flatten it back out, but not totally flat. You want a few wrinkles.
3. Spread glue with the Stampin Up glue stick all over a sheet of card (I've used whisper white here) and stick the tissue down over it. You can wrap excess around the card or trim to fit the card.
*By the way, I haven't put the journaling on this yet. Madeliene and I had a big run-in that afternoon, and I didn't want to writen when I was rather upset still. Storm over; I will add it today.
