New Glitter Paper Technique: a Rainbow Christmas with Whimsical Trees

Today’s share is fun, easy project idea featuring that gorgeous Rainbow Glitter Paper! (I also have some more subdued samples using the Ombre Glitter Paper). As so many of my projects this year, I’m also using those adorable popsicle trees from the Whimsical Trees bundle.

Use your non-Christmas specific supplies to make a gorgeous background

I just love how these turned out. The full rainbow was probably a bit much for this type of look, but just one half of the rainbow on each of these was perfect.

I embossed the glitter paper with the Wintry Folder for a matching whimsical look to those cute trees.

The Ombre Glitter paper gives a more frosty look

I also made a some with the Ombre Glitter paper for those who didn’t want such a bold look. This is also quite nice. I sent these ones particularly to people who I know love purple.

It’s the small details that make the difference, like putting a few of the trees on dimensionals and adding a bit of contrasting texture with those smooth dots (Matte Black Dots and Basic Pearls). Be sure and give them a good press when on top of Glitter Paper.
