New Country Flowers in Pretty in Pink

Welcome to the next All Star Design Team blog hop! This month we are featuring the Country Woods Suite, a gorgeous mega suite that includes the Country Birdhouse and the Country Flowers bundles.

Today’s share features both the brand new Country Flowers stamp and die set and also one of the new In Colors: Pretty in Pink. If you’ve used Stampin’ Up! products for a while, you may recall we’ve had Pretty in Pink in the past. It’s now returned for the next two years.

First, let’s take a look at the new/returning Pretty in Pink, and how it compares with our existing colors:

I would describe Pretty in Pink as a true “ballerina” pink. I wanted to feature this new color in my project today, and I’ve paired it with Flirty Flamingo and Bubble Bath.

I’ve used predominantly the Country Flowers stamp and die set for this project; I really like this can for some reason. I’ve also come to really enjoy the color combination of browns and grays together, so I’ve mixed the Smoky Slate pot with a Crumb Cake background .

The Crumb Cake is embossed with the new Eyelet Embossing Folder (also included in the Country Woods Suite), and then tapped lightly with the Basic White Embossing Folder to really bring out the pattern as well as lighten up the background a bit.
