Everyone needs to have a few quick easy card ideas, and today’s share is a great little template to have up your sleeve. I have even created a PDF with the template for your for future reference. (see below)
This project is also a great way to show off the coordination in the Nests of Winter paper pack. As an added bonus, you can make this project with the little strips we often have left over.
To make this project even quicker, I’ve used the dies to cut out these two birds right out of the printed paper. I added just a bit of the Fine Tip Glue pen to the image to add some shine to a few details. Adding a bit of something to the images helps them not look and feel so “flat”.
If you do not have the papers or wish to use different colors, you can also simply use the stamp, add color, and die cut out.
This version isn’t as vibrant, but I really liked the use of the border print with this template. It’s a nice way to use those “picture” sort of papers in an interesting way.
This bird also comes from the Nests of Winter papers and has a die. I added a few leaf die cuts from Pecan Pie cardstock to add a bit more volume to the focal point.
