Love You: Painted Lavender & Perennial Postage Scrapbooking Layout

Welcome to February and another blog hop from the All Star Design Team! This month our hop and our 12 Project Video Class both feature the Perennial Lavender Suite, which include the Painted Lavender and the Perennial Postage stamp and die sets.

I have chosen to use the entire suite and create a couple of detailed scrapbooking layouts. I found this collection of products was great for scrapbooking!

I love how all the papers in the Perennial Lavender paper pack all work so nicely together. There are some that are very floral, and some that are more muted, so it’s easy to use them together without it being too busy.

One of the elements of the Perennial Lavender Suite are these fantastic pre-cut, delicate Paper Butterflies. I just loved having these ready to go! For this particular butterfly, first I blended on a bit of Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather inks with a Blending Brush. I layered two together and placed them on top of one of the new Everyday Details circles.

Finally, I topped with one of the Faceted Gems that are free during February 2024 with a qualifying order with me!

For some of the detail on this layout, I used up scraps and odds and ends to create a little panel of interesting prints. This is a great way to use up scraps, too!

I kept the facing page a little more simple with more white to give the eye a rest. I brought all the same papers over to the second page for continuity, but in a completely different arrangement.

If you don’t yet have the Stampin’ Write markers, consider adding those to your wish list and chip away at them. These are fantastic for creating elements like above: stamping words or an image with multiple colors to tie the color palette all together.
