Today’s share is one of the five projects that was taught at the Nelson Christmas Extravaganza a few weeks ago – this one by Dana Russell. She chose to use the New Wonders stamp set, which is not specifically a Christmas set, but makes such a cute little angel:
I liked how she embellished the left hand side like a gift – so simple and effective. It’s also quite effective to have the majority of the card neutral with just the right amount of colour to make an impact.
So the card folds and opens like this. It’s basically a standard sized card with the front panel folded back in half again. No measuring and something a bit different and fun!
Dana chose to use the Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers) here to keep the Cherry Cobbler colour true. (Of course watercolouring red dilutes it down to a pink).
Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! What a great card! Tfs.
Do you have the card measurements? I’m terrible at math! Lol!
Thank you!

Hi Louise! I have the New Zealand measurements for A4 cardstock, if that’s helpful. But really, just fold your card in half. Then fold the front panel in half again. You can make it any size you want! 🙂
