It was my youngest daughter's (Sofie's) 10th birthday last week. My eldest daughter, Madeleine, decided to make her this lovely skirt:
It's super quick and easy with just two seams and a hem to do. And my overlocker makes that nice and easy on such slipper fabric.
I used the remaining scraps to make a little scarf/hair tie/belt thing.
And the very last bits were cut up with the lining and made into this lovely hair clip. I absolutely love these!!
We made these at my stamp camps last year, and the ladies just loved them, if you recall my post about them in September. For seamstresses using up bits and matching clothing, these are perfect. For those who hate to sew, these are perfect – no sewing!
