The Floating Strip Technique is an easy, but wow, background idea for showcasing images. In today’s sample, I’ll use the Seaside Bay bundle with Waves instead of strips as a fun variation.
I used the cool wave die from the On the Ocean Bundle (I find the images and dies in the Seaside Bay and the On the Ocean bundle work quite nicely in tandem) to cut my “strips” this time. The effect of the strips floating is especially with the wave image.
For the focal images, I’ve used some of the shell die cuts from the Seaside Bay bundle. As you can see, the fun clam image opens up, and I’ve put one of the flat pearls inside.
I kept the words quite small so I didn’t cover up too much of the waves.
