Today’s share is a cute project with the Share a Milkshake stamp and die set, but I used this project to showcase and answer questions all about adhesives. After a recent trade show crafting with people who weren’t familiar with our products, it was clear that one of the unclear areas was how to use adhesive.
The short video below is my opinion, of course, based on experience. But, as always, you do what you find works best for you. I hope even seasoned crafters might pick up a tip or two!
I have also created a FREE PDF for you to download below.
I designed a project where I could use a variety of adhesives and materials while assembling. Which adhesive works well on vellum? Why doesn’t my glue work on ribbon? And how do I stick those very small or detailed die cuts?
Browse the adhesive selection.
I just love this folded waffle cone from the Share a Milkshake dies. It doesn’t show up in the photo well, but there is a waffle pattern impressed on the cardstock, too. Cute!
I stamped a couple of ice cream scoops in Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia for a pastel treat. Oh, and I couldn’t go past that adorable spoon! A tiny scrap of silver foil is all you need for this cute detail.
A little splash of Lemon Lolly (yellow) brightens and lifts the project. After all, ice cream is always happy.
