Create a Quick, Beautiful Sympathy Card

While sympathy cards aren’t likely a favorite to make, it’s definitely the type of card we want to have in our stash at all times. When the need strikes, we often aren’t in the mood to craft.

Today’s share is a sympathy card you can make with just one color of ink and cardstock plus the Corner Bouquet stamp set. I’ve also used the Heal Your Heart stamp set for the beautiful words and font.

By using the new Blending Brushes, one can create a soft (and quick) background. I like how easy these brushes are to use, and by simply adding more layers, one can control the intensity. More on these in future projects!

The Corner Bouquet, while not limited to the corner, does make a nice image on the front of a sympathy card. I’ve used Gray Granite for both the sponging and the stamping here.

Did you know you can color the Whisper White Seam Binding ribbon easily with your Stampin’ Blends? I’ve used both white and Gray Granite in the project, so I only partially colored the ribbon to keep both colors on it.
