Does Someone You Know Love the Water?
During lockdown here in New Zealand, I endeavored to create some card designs that didn’t use a lot of stamping as part of a “kits in the mail” class I did. And I revamped an old favorite from years past to create this card anyone who enjoys nautical themes:
First of all, I am quite partial to square cards. I just love the balance! Three strips of Night of Navy printed papers is subtle, but a nice background for our sailing embellishments. And a splash of red is perfect!
And in this version, the background papers are Pretty Peacock, an equally nice colour to use on a nautical themed card. It also pairs so nicely with the Real Red splash of colour!
The ship’s wheel is from the Smooth Sailing Dies, and I’ve paired that up with the Sail Away Trinkets and Night of Navy Twine. Both the trinkets and the twine are on the Last Chance List, so if you love them . . . add those to your cart before they are gone!
