I’m a bit late to the party; I posted this card in the Colour Inkspiration Challenge group, but never blogged it! I still want to share this one as it shows not only a great color combination, but also showcases the Dragonfly Garden bundle in some different colors:
And here is the inspiration photo:
I don’t gravitate to bright colors, but it is summer here in New Zealand, and the mood here is bright and fresh!
I like the wispy flowers image in the Dragonfly Garden stamp set the best. I’ve stamped it here a few times and embossed in White Embossing Powder.
Next I swirled over the images in Magenta Madness and Gorgeous Grape inks with the new Blending Brushes. Wow – these are easy and fun to use! Talk about taking it to the next level. I hope you try these soon in one of my classes; they will knock your socks off.
My next favorite thing on this card is the ribbon. I played around quite a bit with the Whisper White Seam Binding and the Stampin’ Blends before Christmas. The effects one can create are really awesome! I’ve blended the two colours here on the ribbon for a real graffiti look, which works well with the stamped images.
