Christmas Market!
We had a Stampin’ Up! stand at the Lopdell House Christmas Market in Titirangi on Saturday – my first ever market stand! I was really unsure what to prepare that would sell well, so I learned a lot. Today’s share is an overview of what we had on offer. I hope you get some cute ideas for easy stocking stuffers or gifts for friends:
These fun lolly tubes are so cute and easy to make! I used the Tin of Tags kit for the toppers and simply adhered them to our 1×8 inch tubes filled with 12 jaffas. (psst – the Tin of Tags is on discount plus you get an adorable tin to keep!)
We pretty much sold out of these; I just have a couple left. Several people came by who bought them for each of their grandchildren.
Here I have wrapped up the large Cadbury chocolate bars to make them a bit less ordinary.
And same here, but these are the thick Whittakers bars. Love the cute little Jingle Bell!
I blogged these previously, and I made up a heap more for the market! The ones that are left I am sending up north for a group of young missionaries who come from poorer countries so they have something to unwrap Christmas morning.
I made these last year and enjoyed them so much! We sold out at the show, but I made a few spare for my own personal gift giving.
These are not particularly a Stampin’ Up! item, except the Cellophane Bags and the Twine. I bought cookie cutters on clearance last March and filled them with melted Cadbury Chocolate. We sold out of these except for one particular shape that people couldn’t figure out what it was . . . . it was a Santa Hat that possibly could be construed otherwise. And that’s all I will say about that on a public forum! (I won’t be sending those to the missionaries!)

Your gifts are so perfect, so love the cookies in a jar. I don’t suppose you would like to share the recipe mixture quantities in the jar and what size jar you used. I understand if it is a secret family recipe.

Looks like lots of fun. I really miss kiwi sweeties but luckily might have some under our Christmas tree over here in the UK. Love the idea of chocolate in a cookie cutter- fantastic!
I am just seeing this on Pinterest. Love all of the ideas. Would you mind sharing the melted chocolate idea? Do you ust put chocolates inside the cookie cutter and melt? How in the world does the chocolate not melt all over the place? I am sure there is an easy explanation ? Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful ideas!
HI Cassy – Thanks for the comment! Actually what I did was put the cookie cutters all lined up on a big sheet of wax paper. Then I melted the chocolate in a double boiler and very quickly spooned it into the cutters. It didn’t really seep out at all, but even if it did, a sharp knife would tidy it up easily. Just do it in small batches as the chocolate goes hard again very quickly. You also need to use very wide cookie cutters. Candy canes, for example, were just too difficult. All the best!
