Wow! I started this post on Friday and here it is Sunday late afternoon!! I just got back from watching the girls at their cheerleading competition this weekend. It’s moments like those that a mother is so very very very proud!!
Now, on to the project!! This is a beautiful tag album inspired by Delys Cram’s creation shown to us at Convention in Melbourne a few months back. (She hasn’t yet put her version up yet, but this is what I came up with from memory):
This entire album was made with just a very few supplies – half of a Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin’ Kit plus some ribbon, brads, and four envelopes.
Each of the pages has a slot in the bottom, which allows for a tag that pulls out. But the cool thing is that it won’t pull all the way out! ( or fall out for that matter)
This was a fun way to use the buttons. I actually did sew these one, but you could just use glue dots, too.
And the big flower is using the Flower Folds Die – a really big one! I used the smaller flowers from this die on this.
The numbers are from the Timeless Type Alphabet. Besides the ribbons and brads, all the rest of the embellishments are from the Simply Scrappin’ Kit. Wow, those kits go a loooong way.
