Bright & Beautiful Balloons Celebration Card

The Bright & Beautiful suite is a nice one for celebration projects, like birthdays or graduations. It’s always nice to celebrate someone and let them know you value them, see them, and make them important.

The unique background for this project was inspired by the talented Tammy Wilson, one of my favorite artists. The idea is simple, but effective: Blend the color of your choice (Bubble Bath used here) onto the centre of a scrap or small piece of Basic White cardstock.

Next, stamp the words multiple times without re-inking to add to the visual layering. Then slice the cardstock into three or more pieces and layer back down onto the project to create a background. Be sure to keep them in order so the word stamping looks congruent.

I also tried a few other color combinations, but I think I prefer the monochromatic look of the pink card a little better. You could also make this one really colorful and have quite a few colors going on for a more rainbow effect.

The Balloons in Beautiful Balloons are great for birthdays, graduations, passing an exam, or any other reason you want to celebrate someone important to you.
